Our Assistant Warehouse Material Handler's start out at $20/hour (includes base plus shift differential) with comprehensive benefits! The Assistant Warehouse Material Handler position is an 8-hour shift Monday through Friday working in our state of the art, climate controlled facility, with the opportunity for voluntary overtime and, at times, may require overtime beyond the normal workday.
Available shift is on 2nd Shift (2:
30pm-10:
30pm).
The position is responsible for the safe, accurate, and efficient operation of forklifts for products coming off of the production lines and placing it in the correct areas.
The position will also assist Shipping and Operations as needed.
Job duties Include:
Operates forklifts in compliance with company safety regulations and uses RF scanners for picking and storage of product.
Manages daily flow of finished products by modifying space assignments.
Documents all related activities and completes forms and reports.
Conducts daily forklift inspections and follows safe forklift operating procedures.
Comply with Safe Quality Food and Safety standards by maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Baler operations.
Loading trailer with scrap.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Skills & Requirements:
High school diploma or GED Basic math skills to count product.
Good communication and reading skills.
Attention to detail.
Critical thinking.
Good organizational and time management skills.
Manufacturing experience preferred but not necessary.
Forklift experience preferred but not necessary (training provided) Performing general physical activities such as standing, bending, pushing, pulling, grasping and lifting (up to 50 lbs) Morris Packaging is proud to offer competitive pay, a fantastic comprehensive benefits package.
