Employees will have a regular Monday to Friday schedule and be home each night with their family.
Drivers initially join our company as relief drivers.
Duties will vary between working in the warehouse and subbing on routes as needed to cover vacations, sick days, etc We run set routes that are bid on by seniority for long-term assignment.
We require at least a Class B CDL, but prefer an air brake endorsement or Class A CDL.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Be able to fill in for or assist route drivers on an as-needed basis Build palletized loads from computer-generated load sheets Maintain warehouse product freshness and rotation, including staging the picking area and the proper disposal of out of code product Unload shipments of beer from suppliers and properly store in warehouse Conduct physical inventory counts on a regular basis Repack damaged product according to supplier standards Maintain proper records for product removed from inventory Make sure the loaded product meets supplier standards Make call-in deliveries and complete and submit all required paperwork, invoices, cash and checks in appropriate timeframe Ensure accurate completion of Department of Transportation checklist and report maintenance problems and accidents in a timely manner Collect payment as necessary when making deliveries PAY AND BENEFITS Relief driver/warehouse pay starts at $825/week with overtime, commission and other incentives available.
Raises are awarded on the first two employment anniversaries IN ADDITION to annual raises in February.
Drivers permanently assigned to a route have the potential to make upwards of $60,000/yr.

This is valued at more than $8,000/yr.

Do you have warehouse or forklift experience? Are you able to lift, bend and twist from floor level to overhead with up to 40 pounds repeatedly all day? Are you able to lift, load, unload and move kegs, which weigh up to 165 pounds? Are you able to push a 2-wheel cart with up to 220 pounds on it repeatedly all day, occasionally up an incline? This position requires membership in Teamsters Local 833 Union.
Are you willing to pay the initiation fee ($150 spread over three months) and the monthly dues ($60/month divided into weekly payments)? Are you willing and able to pass a pre-employment drug test (per DOT Regulations) as well as being subject to ongoing random drug testing?
