Our successful candidate will have 3 years experience in Grounds Management.
$3,000 sign on bonus.
This position is responsible for leading and managing the Grounds Department for the beautiful 150-acre campus.
Driving University vehicles and clear driving record required.
Our successful candidate will design landscape for optimal aesthetics and sustainability with flowering plants and shrubs manage tree planting and management plan.
Licensed Applicator in Pesticide and Herbicide Applications required.

Key
Responsibilities:
Plan, organize and oversee the daily activities of all campus grounds and landscaping services staff.
Establish and continuously review performance standards, goals and objectives Design landscape for optimal aesthetics and sustainability Schedule and perform routine inspections of all campus grounds and landscape to ensure quality Manage seasonal plantings and pesticide applications Work closely with athletic department to prepare and maintain 10 acres of synthetic athletic fields Execute and update yearly the campus snow removal plan, manage maintenance of snow removal equipment Ensure all grounds and facilities vehicles and equipment is maintained to a safe and serviceable condition and workshop facilities are kept clean and tidy This position will act as the facilities fleet manager Present a professional personal appearance, firmly enforcing service staff uniforms, personal protective equipment, and other safety gear that reflects the University image and brand Certification in pesticide application preferred Requirements Preferred 3 years of Grounds leadership experience Experience working with and maintaining sports fields both natural grass and synthetic Knowledge with hardscapes, machinery and fencing strongly preferred Computer literacy as well as excellent leadership, communication and customer service skills This career opportunity offers a competitive salary, full benefits.
