Job Description:
The asset management analyst oversees the life-cycle management of all our information technology assets including acquisition, inventory tracking, auditing, and compliance.
Establishes, maintains, and enforces asset management procedures and standards across all our business units.
Objectives:
Enable effective IT governance Collaborate with IT stakeholders to improve management of assets Create a sustainable IT asset management framework (ITAM) framework
Responsibilities:
Development, planning and oversight for the IT asset & lease management programs; monitors and tracks all IT assets from procurement to retirement Full responsibility for all aspects of IT procurement policy, procedures, and processes supporting IT asset management and lease management Design and implement processes and procedures for tracking and analyzing technical and financial data of company hardware and software from requisition through retirement.
Maintenance and/or development of tracking systems for hardware and software acquisition and related services Communicate asset management strategies to team members and partners in a timely and clear fashion.
Coordinates our hardware disposal efforts:
partners with IT Finance & procurement to ensure asset and lease management controls support asset management Manage asset data such as hardware serial numbers for the configuration management database (CMDB/ITAM) and ensure information is up-to-date, accurate, and auditable.
Establishes and monitors processes to assign and track computers assigned to our employees Generates asset and lease tracking reports as needed by IT leadership for planning and budgeting purposes; performs other duties as assigned.
Partners with the IT Service Desk and Finance Analyst to plan and communicate computer refreshes, buyouts, and lease schedule management.
Manage and tracking of software license assigned to end users, reviewing, and managing IT resource volume and expenditures against purchase agreements.
Formal Education & Certification:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or Management Information Systems.

Strategic thinking - An understanding of strategic business objectives and the ability to develop a vision and strategy for ITAM and execute it effectively in order to drive results toward those objectives Interpersonal skills - Proven ability to collaborate, build relationships and influence individuals at all levels in a matrix management environment (as well as external vendors and service providers) to ensure that segregation and overlapping roles are identified and coordinated Strategic relationship management - Includes working with software vendors during license compliance audits Strategic vision - Ability to sense emerging needs and drive change as ITAM develops and matures to meet organizational and technology challenges Knowledge &
Experience:
Prior experience in a lead role, including engagement with sourcing, procurement and vendor management, business stakeholders and frontline operational IT staff Prior ITAM roles (hardware or software) or demonstrable experience of working with IT asset management professionals to deliver ITAM capability and improved business outcomes 4
years of experience preferred related to asset management Proficient understanding of Microsoft Office Suite including Microsoft Power BI tools and or Excel to compare and combine data from various sources.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
