What you will do:
Provide all administrative support to Department's support units including Human Resources, Fiscal, General Services, Procurement, and Communications.
Draft, proof and edit correspondence for signature.
Handle requests for information and data.
Process requisitions and payment of invoices.
Resolve administrative problems and inquiries.
Compile data and prepare reports for consideration at meetings.
Attend meetings to record minutes.
Answer incoming calls.
Screen and forward calls to applicable division within the department.
Coordinate department events such as Charitable Campaign, Blood Drives, etc.
Maintain office supplies/equipment.
Responsible for annual and conference room inventory.
Serve as back up to Executive Assistant when required.
All you need for success:
Qualifications Four or more years of office or related clerical/administrative experience; AND possession of a high school diploma or proof of high school equivalency.
Desired Attributes Executive level administrative experience preferred.
Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, including WORD, Excel, and Outlook and standard office equipment.
Exceptional discretion with regard to information obtained through working directly with the Director's Office.
Comprehensive knowledge of the structure AP Style Guide, including rules of composition and grammar.
Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
Dependable, managing leave appropriately and follow department policies and procedures.
Ability to work independently, exercise sound judgment and work in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to maintain professionalism at all times, demonstrating respect, courtesy and helpfulness toward department staff and external customers.
Ability to work under pressure with heavy workload.
Complete routine tasks by deadlines and use work time efficiently.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
