Job
Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Home Remodeler to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in residential construction, remodeling, and renovation projects.
From kitchen and bathroom remodels to basement finishing and room additions, the Home Remodeler will be responsible for executing all aspects of the remodeling process, including planning, estimating, project management, and hands-on construction work.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with clients to understand their remodeling needs and provide professional recommendations and solutions.
Perform on-site assessments and take accurate measurements to determine project requirements and ensure accurate cost estimation.
Create detailed project plans, including timelines, budgets, and material lists, ensuring adherence to client specifications and local building codes.
Source and procure materials, tools, and equipment required for each project, ensuring timely delivery and cost-effectiveness.
Oversee and manage all phases of the remodeling process, including demolition, framing, plumbing, electrical work, drywall installation, painting, flooring, and finishing.
Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and other team members to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety standards, addressing any issues promptly to ensure customer satisfaction.
Troubleshoot and resolve any construction-related problems that may arise during the remodeling process.
Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, invoices, and permits.
Keep up-to-date with industry trends, building codes, regulations, and best practices, implementing them in the remodeling projects.
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Home Remodeler or similar role, with a solid portfolio of successfully completed remodeling projects.
In-depth knowledge of residential construction techniques, materials, and best practices.
Strong skills in interpreting architectural drawings, blueprints, and other project documentation.
Proficiency in using a wide range of hand and power tools.
Excellent project management skills, with the ability to plan, organize, and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
Solid understanding of local building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with attention to detail.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, team members, subcontractors, and suppliers.
Physical stamina and dexterity to perform manual labor and lift heavy objects when required.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
