Some positions are eligible for a shift differential of $173.

The Department of Corrections is the only State agency that currently offers a guaranteed 1% pay increase for every two years of service up to 20 years.
What you'll do:
This professional position is in charge of the planning, monitoring and oversight of the state's 33 probation and parole offices, as well as the satellite and sub offices associated with those offices, 6 community supervision centers, 2 transition centers and 19 institutional parole offices.
The division oversees supervision of approximately 53,000 probation & parolees and employ over 2,000 team members.
Applicants should be able to work in close collaboration with the Department's Executive staff and advise on all matters pertaining to the division.
The Director of the Division of Probation and Parole will be expected to establish and maintain collaborative relationships with stakeholders as well as other State and local agencies.

This is a highly responsible, senior level executive management position reporting directly to the Department Director.

Qualifications:
Applicants should have extensive knowledge and expertise in high-level administration, overall management of a large organization and the ability to make critical decisions.
The applicant should have the skills necessary to lead a large and complex division, provide clear direction to team members, the ability to plan strategically and have the skills to manage and lead multiple projects.
Additional critical skills include the ability to think and plan proactively, understand and promote the Department's mission, direction and priorities and communicate these messages to team members.
Communication methods include town halls, focus groups, one on one meetings with team members and ongoing communication with the entire division through emails or videos.
Knowledge of the state budget process is helpful.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
