We are looking for dedicated, reliable, and positive people to join our team.
Required skills:
Knowledge of medical terminology, understanding of working office practices, one-year medical office experience, and exceptional customer service skills.
Assist patients with scheduling of appointments, process insurance verification's, obtain insurance authorizations, speak to patients regarding financial responsibilities, and obtaining all required medical documentation for claim submissions.
Knowledge of commercial, government, Missouri Medicaid, Medicare, and Work Comp programs.
Skilled in operating a personal computer, experience in patient account software a plus.
Appropriately recognizes and maintains the confidentiality of all patient information.
Understands and maintains Federal, State, and HIPAA rules and regulations.
Skill in establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with all clients and other team members.
Demonstrates exceptional interpersonal skills.
Position requires a minimum of 1-year previous medical office experience.
This position will be responsible for learning all aspects of the medical front office required to assist patients in positive outcomes.
This is a full-time position.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
