Full-time Registered Triage Nurse within our Pediatrics clinic.
Normal working hours are Monday- Friday 8:
00-5:
00.
However, hours could vary based on the needs of the department/clinic.
Salary is based on experience.
Full-time positions are eligible for full benefits, including insurance, 148 PTO hours per year, 56 hours of paid Holidays per year including the day after Thanksgiving, and an Employee Retirement Plan (401K) with employer match.
Tuition reimbursement and a grow our own Medical Assistant Program.
DUTIES:
Answer telephone calls, calling patients with results, scheduling testing and appointments.
Processing prior authorizations and referrals.
Assists the physician and/or nurse to provide physical care for the patient before, during, and after examinations and procedures, as needed.
Provides nursing care to patients in the clinic following the MO Nurse Practice Act, Registered Nurse Scope of Practice.
Participates in educational experiences designed to maintain competence.
Uses facility communication systems correctly.
Performs routine clerical activities required for efficient operation of the ambulatory clinic.
Ensures efficient customer friendly telephone communication.
Graduated from an accredited Registered Nurse program Prefer one year of experience in an acute care setting; prefer an additional 1 year in Pediatrics Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Missouri BLS certification
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Computer skills preferred but not required Job Type:
Full-time.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
