Missouri Rural Services is an insurance brokerage that provides a complete package insurance policy specifically designed for public entities and nonprofits.
This part-time position will work closely with the Administrative Assistant in charge of invoicing/general accounting.
This position will be responsible for creating invoices from accepted insurance quotes, cancelling policies for non-renewals and deficient payments and assist with company payables.
What You'll Do:
Invoicing:
Pull files Finalize and renew policies Mark up quote acceptances with including or declining TRIA, if accepting add to premium.
Confirm agent, address, and commissions are correct.
Enter all premiums per line item.
Create invoice and send over to policy processing to be sent out with the policy to the agent.
Canceling policies:
Cancel policies within system, include reason for cancellation.
Break down file Send out e-mail to appropriate people & companies letting them know the policy has cancelled and the reason.
Creating and sending out pay plan invoices and monthly Broker Statements via e-mail and USPS monthly.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
