American Plastics, a leading manufacturer specializing in Janitorial, Food Service Cleaning Products, and Retail Storage Products is looking for an experienced Injection Molding/Process Technician with a minimum of 2 years' experience.
This position will report to the Lead Process Technician and will be responsible for, but not limited to:

12 Hour Shifts - 2-2-3 SCHEDULE HOURS:

30AM Monitor and maintain standard cycle times and part quality Be able to understand and communicate the information provided within the job packet pertaining to specification sheet, standard routing, B.

's, scrap reports and quality requirements Be able to identify all resins used in molding operation including regrind and the associated usage percentage Must understand and operate the operator interface 'CRT' screen on computer-controlled presses, including all screens required to control the process Must be able to establish a new process, do mold sets, Robot Programming and start a machine based upon settings in Mold Books/QR Code.
Demonstrate a basic knowledge and understanding of hot runner systems, Valve Gates, and standard sprue molds Trouble shoot issues on Injection Molding machines and Robots.
Other duties as assigned by Management Requirements:
Knowledge of operating the following Injection molding machines a must, such as:
Engel, Milacron, Battenfeld, UBE and HPM's Knowledge with Wittman and Servpro Robots preferred.
Organized, detail oriented, team player with a sense of urgency Resourceful, with ability to apply critical problem-solving skills Effective Communication Skills Applicant must have 2 plus years' experience as a process tech in injection molding or similar process Follow departmental documentation procedures 5S and Lock Out Tag Out experience required.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
