Perform monthly bank reconciliations for clients.
Assist with data entry and maintain accurate records.
Assist with balancing quarterly or yearly general ledger accounts for clients.
Update depreciation schedule for clients.
Tax return data entry and scanning.
Provide backup for client payroll processing Qualifications Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Ability to multitask and work in a fast pace environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel, with working knowledge of Word and Outlook.
Knowledge of general ledger accounting principles and practices.
Familiarity with QuickBooks Desktop, QBO, Sage 50 (Peachtree) accounting software, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.
Experience with account reconciliation and review.
Knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures.
Previous experience in public accounting is a plus, but not required.
