READINESS SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Maximum Military Grade - MAJ (O-4) Officer - AOC 01A Branch Immaterial Warrant Officer - MOS 011A Branch Immaterial Enlisted - MOS 00F Immaterial Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion). GENERAL
Experience:
Must possess experience, education or training which provided a general knowledge of the principles of organization, management and administration; and experience using computer and automation systems. GS-09 Specialized
Experience:
Must possess at least 24 months of specialized experience that demonstrates your ability to provide oversight, planning, interpretation, application of policy, final review and validation of subordinate products for presentation to senior leadership, and implementation guidance to lower echelon units and commands. The specialized experience must also indicate your ability perform in the areas of Mobilization Readiness to include liaising directly with the assigned Mobilization and Demobilization Station of a unit; the corresponding Training Support Battalion (TSB); respective Army Regional Command; the respective Mobilization Brigade; and internal mobilization station tenant agencies. Must possess or be able to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
