SURFACE MAINTENANCE MECHANIC LEADER (TITLE 32)
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
WARRANT OFFICER / ENLISTED Since the position is temporary in nature, the compatibility requirements will be waived for a period of time not to exceed one year. Selecting official must verify that selected individual is currently assigned to a military unit in the Missouri National Guard and that the selection does not create grade inversion. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor (grade inversion). Maximum Military Grade:
CW4 (W-4) GENERAL
Experience:
Must possess experience or training that has provided you with sufficient knowledge to complete the work of this occupational series; and experience or training which demonstrates your ability to lead other technicians engaged in the duties performed by this occupational series. WL-10 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must possess 24 months of specialized experience which demonstrates your knowledge of and skill in the repair of surface maintenance equipment sufficient to organize and direct the work of other surface maintenance repair technicians; ability to provide guidance to others in troubleshooting complex equipment malfunctions; ability to instruct others to diagnose, repair, overhaul, and modify interconnected complex systems on a variety of combat, tactical, commercial, special purpose vehicles and equipment.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
