YELLOW RIBBON PROGRAM SPECIALIST (TITLE 32)

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS:
Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Selected candidate will be required to be in a compatible military assignment prior to effective date of placement. Selected candidate must be MOS qualified within 12 months from date of appointment. Enlisted - MOS 00F, MOS Immaterial Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion). GENERAL
Experience:
Must possess experience, education, and/or training which provided you with a general knowledge of principles of organization, management, and administration; and experience using computer and automation systems. GS-09 SPECIALIZED
Experience:
Must possess 24 months of specialized experience which demonstrates your ability to develop, implement, coordinate, manage, and direct a Yellow Ribbon Program; collect, evaluate, disseminate information, and assess strengths, weaknesses, and needs of serviced population in order to establish program goals, objectives, and procedures; and establish and maintain effective working relationships using tact and diplomacy, interacting with individuals, families and other governmental agencies and not for profit organizations. The specialized experience must also demonstrate your ability to evaluate and recommend policy; organize and carry out specific programs; evaluate and recommend changes in methods of operation; and prepare written communications, oral presentations, and conduct seminars.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
